Remote Work

To: All Employees, Interns & Team Members


Chowdhury Aktar & Associates, its divisions, and companies are committed to taking all necessary measures to prevent Coronavirus (COVID-19) from spreading within our community and to protect our people. We wish to clarify that the proposed measures we have previously implemented and are currently implementing are not motivated by fear, panic, or an immediate threat to our team members. They are primarily preventative in nature and part of a civic-minded initiative to help stop the spread of this virus.


Policy measures concerning working from home have been in effect since March 2020 and will continue to be in effect until January 2023.


Employees who typically report to offices are instructed to work from home during the effective time period. All employees and team members, including senior management employees, will be required to operate remotely. We have ensured that all employees have access to the latest technology, equipment, and software.


During these difficult times, Canadians have done an excellent job keeping social distance, getting their vaccinations, and showing kindness to each other. In light of this, the current 7-day average in Quebec is 2,097, and in Ontario, it is 2,333.




After doing an internal survey, 93% of our team members said they prefer remote work vs working from the office.


The number of global companies implementing remote work is increasing, including PwC, LinkedIn, Snowflake, Apple, Coinbase, and many others. Chowdhury Aktar & Associates, its divisions, and companies are proud to be a "remote-first" company.


Through these measures, I hope that all our team members will be able to take care of their mental health and that of their families.
